Pitikan 2: Nana Buxani Documentary Photographer

Nana Buxani talks about her passion and work as a documentary photographer in the Philippines.
PITIKAN aims to share, discuss and exchange ideas about one’s personal body of works and personal photographic vision. Whatever genre or approach the photographer uses – commercial, documentary, fashion, commercial or art photography. As it is through these long-term personal projects that reflect the photographers’ sensibilities, stance, views, voice and passion as an artist, both as self-expression and critical reflection of the world as the photographer sees it. PITIKAN acknowledges the photographer’s need to share his personal body of works to both the audience, invisible or not, and the subjects themselves. We hope to help in creating a spark and enthusiasm to the present and new generation of photographers to create more and extensive bodies of work.
